Understanding the cost of therapy

Cost and coverage should be discussed clearly before care begins. Seasons works with multiple insurance plans and offers self-pay options, but benefits and clinician participation vary.

Before your first appointment

Provide your insurance information during intake so the team can review practical fit. Verification is not a guarantee of payment; the client is responsible for understanding plan terms, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, authorizations, and exclusions.

Plans we work with

Participation varies by clinician, location, and service, and coverage is determined by your plan. Seasons does not participate with Medicare.

BCBS / Anthem / CareFirst Sentara Health Plans (formerly Optima Health) Cigna / Evernorth Curative UnitedHealthcare / Optum / UMR Allied Benefit Systems Medicaid

Self-pay

Self-pay may be available depending on the clinician and service. The intake team can explain current self-pay options when you reach out.

Questions to ask your insurer

  • Is outpatient mental health treatment covered?
  • Is the clinician in network for my specific plan?
  • What deductible, copay, or coinsurance applies?
Verification is not a guarantee of payment. Benefits and eligibility are reviewed by the intake team before your first appointment, and the client is responsible for understanding their plan.
